Join us at the Norfolk Public Library for a special early learning program designed for parents/guardians and their 3–5 year olds! This hands-on program is a fun and meaningful way to prepare your child for kindergarten while building early literacy skills together.

Parents/guardians will actively guide their preschoolers through engaging activities that support language, reading, and school readiness—with guidance and encouragement from our Youth Services staff. Each month you’ll also receive simple take-home activities and calendar to keep the learning going at home. The take-home activities can be adapted to younger and older siblings, but we ask that only your preschooler age 3-5 attends the early learning program.

Give your child a strong start and enjoy quality learning time together—because learning is more powerful when families learn side by side!
