Student Short Film Camp

Student Short Film Camp In-Person

For students going into grades 9-12.  $10 registration fee payable to Norfolk Public Library due the first day of camp.  Students may bring their own lunch or will be provided a lunch option for $5/day. 

Students will establish production teams to develop and create short films with the guidance of Northeast Community College Media Arts instructors.  Student filmmakers will receive hands-on training in story structure and adapting for film, visual storytelling, and camera work.  Day 1 (July 15) will begin at Norfolk Public Library and end at Cox Activities Center - Door 1. Day 2 (July 16) will begin and end at the Cox Activities Center at Northeast Community College, with a visit to Elkhorn Valley Museum. Transportation will be provided and a waiver will be sent out prior to the beginning of camp. 

There will be a public screening of the films created at Cox Activities Center on July 16 at 5:30pm.
