If Memory Serves

How often have you heard or said If memory serves me correctly…? We know memory is the process of storing and then remembering information, but we also know it’s fallible. Our memory can play tricks on us. And it can be tricky to remember a person, place, or event we’d like to write about. Join us for April’s Writing Lab where we’ll use writing prompts and activities to help you access your memories and spark your imagination. Whether you’re writing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, a hybrid form, or something hard to classify, let’s find ways to make your memory serve you.

Facilitated by Jen Ippensen, MFA Creative Writing in Fiction, University of Nebraska
