NEA Big Read: Listening Sessions In-Person
Eight listening sessions for Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary, Resilient, Disabled Body by Rebekah Taussig will be held at the library every Monday, March 6 through April 24, from10am - 11am. Each session focuses on listening to the audiobook version of one chapter. Print copies of the book and magnifiers will also be available. The end of each session will have time for a reflection period for attendees.
Attendees are welcome to bring a small project to work on while listening to the audiobook. Coloring pages and sensory fidgets will be available. Coffee and light refreshments provided.
